Intel IT Radio Show: Client in the Cloud
Go inside IT with this IT@Intel radio show
To respond to the growing number of devices at use in the enterprise, IT must become an agile service provider. Intel IT has undertaken a multi-year transition to cloud computing to increase the agility of their IT organization, focusing primarily on the private cloud.
In this podcast, Jim Kenneally of Intel Innovation Labs, Chuck Brown of Intel Architecture Integration, and Intel IT’s Tom Mant discuss the key role of the client in a cloud computing strategy, and how Intel IT is balancing what needs to be secure and delivered centrally and what needs to be delivered locally for the best user compute experience. Deciding how to best deliver services to various devices becomes the foundation for balanced computing. For example, a client-aware cloud can leverage the compute power of the local device to improve the user experience and simplify IT management.
