First Aid: Are you always safe?
Grade: 5-6, Science
Young assistant doctors of emergency task force are given the task to prepare a first aid kit for their school. The assistant doctors prepare slide show to demonstrate its usage. They arrange for “Safety Awareness Day” to spread awareness about different precautions for emergencies and the steps to be followed before proper medication.

World Through Different Pair of Eyes: How are our lives affected by the choices we make?
Grade: 8, Social Studies
Middle school students see the world through another pair of eyes as they communicate with other students from different countries and in the process learn about their own country in a global context. Students will understand the correlation between where people live and their living conditions. Students learn about life in other parts of the world by learning about the living conditions and the natural resources of different countries. Students will further investigate the availability and usage of natural resources in different countries, and learn about causes for the destruction or depletion of natural resources and the ongoing conservation efforts. Students will learn about Resource Conservation and find solutions for conservation and sustainable development of natural resources in their country.

Mathemagic!!
Grade: 6-8, Mathematics
This project undertakes innovative ways to solve measurement problems by using mathematical operations like ratio proportion. The lesson also highlights the various uses of graphs to draw comparisons.

Climate Quest
Grade: 7, Geography, Social Studies
In a world ravaged by climate change due to the irresponsible behaviour of man, young citizens of the earth go on a journey to discover the meaning and extent of climate change and lead the way in arresting this change so as to return to our planet its pristine glory.

Eureka: How can science contribute in human progress?
Grade: 5-8, Social Studies, English (Grammar), Science
In this unit, students will learn how scientific inventions have changed the course of human activity, and thereby human history. Students investigate and rank scientific inventions using Visual Ranking Tool in order of its impact on human lives. As a culminating activity, they propose an invention to make our life better.

Students undertake the role of researchers to find out how the history of clothing has evolved and how man is interwoven in that history. They visit the villages of weavers to discern their life and living and take responsible actions to promote the traditional craft of handloom.

As social activists, students assess the current depletion of value systems and make an attempt to revive it by setting example of Gandhiji’s philosophy of non-violence and indulging in activities leading to awareness generation in society.

This project in a broad outline is a media studies research unit examining the role of news in shaping and bringing about change in today's world. Microbes are fascinating and intriguing organisms. They are miniscule powerhouses that have worldwide impact when they cause disease, improve health, and sustain ecosystems. In this unit, students as junior microbiologists investigate the role microbes play in our lives and the world around us. They use the Showing Evidence Tool*, to dig deeper into understanding whether the microbes are a boon or a bane. Again using the Seeing Reason Tool* they study the cause and effect of microbial diseases and epidemic outbreak. The students also make the community aware about the precautions against microbial diseases and suggest strategies to improve hygienic living conditions in the community.
