Case ID: 1508945787, 22012654574 Device Family: Intel® Agilex™ F-Series, Intel® Stratix® 10 Series Why does CONF_DONE pin fail to go high after reprogramming RBF with a matching key? Description In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 21.1, if you program the RBF with a matching key, the process will pass. Then if you program the RBF with a mismatched key, the process will fail. Then if you program the RBF with a matching key, you expect the process to pass, but the process fails. Error (18944): CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 0. Make sure all communication cables are securely connected, select a different device, check the power on the target system, or make sure all nCE pins are connected to GND. 2. Case ID: 1508942598, 22012565848, 22012765813, 22012742291 Device Family: Intel® Stratix® 10 Series Why does Factory Image fail to boot after all application images are corrupted? Description Prior to Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition version 21.1, if all application images fail to load and execute, then the system will ultimately load and execute the factory DCMF image. However, due to an error in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition version 21.1, the system will fail to boot the factory image. Note: You can reuse the existing SOF file to generate the .jic or .rpd file after the patch is installed. 3. Device Family: Intel® Agilex™ F-Series, Intel® Stratix® 10 Series Case ID: 22012742782 Why am I not able to burn Physical eFuses? Description In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 21.1, physical fusing of user defined fuses is not allowed. Only virtual fusing support is present. 4. Device Family: Intel® Agilex™ F-Series Case ID: 22012565848 Why is the Agilex QSPI controller disabled during FPGA configuration? Description In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 21.1 and prior, there is an issue with the Agilex SDM QSPI controller being disabled for the HPS after the initial FPGA configuration occurs during HPS boot first mode. This occurs after the first FPGA configuration from both u-boot and/or Linux. 5. Device Family: Intel® Stratix 10™ MX Series Case ID: 1508847866 Why does the reconfiguration fail when the hbm_only_reset_in port for HBM2 IP is connected to the output of Reset Release Intel Stratix 10 FPGA IP or other core logic. Description In the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 21.1 and prior, the FPGA reconfiguration in user mode will fail if the hbm_only_reset_in port for HBM2 IP is connected to the output of Reset Release IP or other core logic. When the hbm_only_reset_in is driven with logic value 1'b1 during reconfiguration, the HBM2 IP will be kept in reset and results in configuration failure. The first configuration cycle upon power up will pass. Note: You can reuse the existing SOF file to generate the .jic or .rpd file after the patch is installed.
