Detailed Description

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 R2* includes built-in support for Out of Band (OOB) management of Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT). This includes the capability to discover and configure Intel® AMT, and then use some of the OOB features of Intel® AMT.

This add-on was created to enable SCCM to be used with all supported versions of Intel AMT.

The add-on integrates components of Intel® SCS with SCCM. After installation, Intel SCS replaces the built-in capabilities of SCCM.

The add-on also handles discovery of data from systems that support Intel AMT (initial OOB discovery of the Intel AMT status is still done using SCCM) Configuration/Unconfiguration of Intel AMT on the discovered systems, and Maintenance of Intel AMT settings on the discovered systems.

The add-on installs collections, advertisements, and task sequences that are pre-configured to use the Intel SCS components.
