Detailed Description

Purpose

Intel® Aptio* V UEFI Firmware Integrator Tools are designed to assist integrators (who usually work in manufacturing or enterprise environment) with the process of BIOS/SMBIOS customization, OEM Windows* product key injection (OEM Activation 3.0, OA3), changing the Logo, etc. of Intel® NUC AptioV based products.

The Intel® Aptio* V UEFI Firmware Integrator Tools support:

  • Window s 11*
  • Windows® 10
  • Linux*
  • EFI shell

Note

  • iDmiEdit, iSetupCfg & iFlashV are not supported on the Intel® NUC Kit NUC8CC
  • iFlashV is not supported on the Intel® NUC 9 Extreme Laptop Kits.
  • Intel® Aptio* V UEFI Firmware Integrator Tools are only supported by the Aptio V-based products. iCHLogo - Enables the user to change the Intel splash screen logo at boot.

iDmiEdit - Enables the user to modify the SMBIOS information.

iFlashV - A command-line tool that enables the user to do the following:

  • Update the system BIOS.
  • Update the image at boot.
  • Insert a specific OEM activation key.

iSetupCfg - A command-line tool that enables the user to update NVRAM variables from within the EFI shell, Linux, or Windows® 10 and Windows® 11. You can:

  • Extract variables directly from the BIOS.
  • Change settings using a text editor and then update the BIOS with the custom settings.
