Intel® Core™ i7 Processors

8 Performance-cores. 8 Efficient-cores. It’s time to break the gaming speed limit.

Go Beyond Performance

Find out what happens when already game-changing performance hybrid architecture1 gets built on. We’ve taken our technology to another level and given Intel® Thread Director2 more cores to choose from, so you don’t have to choose or prioritize tasks when you’re gaming. Just enjoy constant speed and constant performance.

Share the Load

A CPU that shares the workload and wins the battle.

Here’s to back up when you need it most. The 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor teams together even more of our ‘Performance’ and ‘Efficient’ cores. P-cores handle the boss-level tasks, like gameplay and streaming. E-cores cover you by picking off the smaller tasks in the background. And with the Intel® Thread Director, it doesn’t just mean you can switch smoothly between them, but you’ll always feel overpowered in your gameplay, even with other tasks running. It’s multitasking with missions in mind.

See the Difference Speed Makes

Fast forward to victory.

The power to keep up with the most demanding gameplay. The 13th Gen Intel Core processor has introduced more cores, and more threads, so you can squeeze more out of your favorite games and accelerate through the most CPU-intensive titles without breaking a sweat.

More average frames per second (FPS)

Best of all Worlds

More multitasking thanks to the fastest PC chip we’ve ever built.

Making multitasking the norm. Hyper-Threading and 24 threads mean you can rush, while you stream, while you chat, while you listen–and never lose a scrap of power. It’s the edge you’ve always needed to take on more while you game. And Thanks to Intel® Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology, the most suitable P-core will always be selected for your task. So, you can keep power and keep performing.

Improve your Lane Game

The road to less latency.

More dedicated high-speed channels help remove legacy interference and congestion, making ping a thing of the past.

Power-full Performance

Clock in with more speed.

We upped the power to up your performance. Uniting a base clock speed of 3.4 GHz, turbo-ing up to 5.4 GHz, unreal gameplay, faster memory speeds, non-existent load times and up to 36 MB of Intel® Smart Cache. It’s a silicon potion ready to increase your gaming power.

Winning Wi-Fi

No more ping or ports. Just gaming-grade wireless.

Your level should never drop, and neither should your Wi-Fi. Thanks to Intel® Killer™ Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+), experience faster connectivity5, ultra-low latency and optimal networking so you can frag without lag and win without ping.

It’s Overclock O’clock

Eke more from each type of core.

Overclocking6 is the power to get more power from your CPU. Supercharging your top clock speed to higher than its own factory limits, squeezing more performance from the same silicon, and giving you the freedom (and tools) to think “outside of the box settings”. Custom controls put finer-than-fine-tuning at anyone’s fingertips, letting you mould your CPU to the point where it feels like it was built for you, and overclock each type of core individually.

Unlocking’s easy. When you have the right set of keys.
  • Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) puts the outer limits of PC performance in reach of all, by bringing overclocking out of the BIOS and into Windows.
  • Intel® XTU also gives you super granular core-by-core control, unlocking new possibilities.
  • Intel® XTU now features Intel® Speed Optimizer, this new feature enabled within Intel Extreme Tuning Utility is designed to simplify overclocking. Intel® ISO changes the P-core and E-core frequency, voltage, and other parameters automatically.
  • Intel® Dynamic Memory Boost and Real-Time Memory OC support take the guesswork out of memory overclocking, opening access to amazingly fast, more immersive gameplay through DDR5 and DDR4 memory.
  • Advanced settings give you the ability to overclock P-cores and E-cores individually, as well as PCIe.
  • Cryo cooling compatible, with built-in solder thermal interface material to keep the heat off when the pressure is on.
  • Custom voltage controls, so you can tune your V/F curve to your precise needs, rather than defaulting to an artificially high setting.

RAM-ped up Gameplay

Step inside the game.

Thanks to support for DDR5, up to 5600MHz and support for 16 lanes of PCIe Gen 5, delivering more bandwidth than its Gen 4 equivalent–13th Gen is designed ready for the fastest, smoothest, richest way to play.

DDR4

up to 3200MHz

PCIe Gen 5

16 Lanes PCIe 5.0 plus 4 lanes of PCIe 4.0 off the CPU

Connect 4

Flexibility, bandwidth, and connectivity. Looks like thunder strikes more than once.

Compatible with multiple 4K monitors, straight out of the box. Plus, Thunderbolt™ 4 provides a single, universal port for your universe of peripherals, while helping to make sure data flows fast, with a bidirectional bandwidth of 40Gbps.

Caution: Beautiful Graphic Content

Beauty is in the eye of the mouse holder.

Intel UHD Graphics driven by Xe Architecture supports up to 4 simultaneous displays, variable rate shading and deeper, more immersive media, and gives access to 8K stream content. If seeing is believing, this is a CPU that helps your GPU play true. And with Intel® Quick Sync Video your game will never drop detail, even while streaming and recording at the same time.

Product and Performance Information

1

Performance hybrid architecture combines two core microarchitectures, Performance-cores (P-cores) and Efficient-cores (E-cores), on a single processor die first introduced on 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors. Select 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors do not have performance hybrid architecture, only P-cores, and have same cache size as prior generation; see ark.intel.com for SKU details.

2

Built into the hardware, Intel® Thread Director is provided only in performance hybrid architecture configurations of 12th Gen or newer Intel® Core™ processors; OS enablement is required. Available features and functionality vary by OS.

3

Visit intel.com/performanceindex for workloads and configurations. Results may vary.

4

Performance varies by use, configuration and other factors. Learn more at www.Intel.com/PerformanceIndex. Performance results are based on testing as of dates shown in configurations and may not reflect all publicly available updates. See backup for configuration details. No product or component can be absolutely secure.

5

Nearly 3x faster Wi-Fi connectivity versus standard Wi-Fi. See intel.com/PerformanceIndex (connectivity) for details. Results may vary.

6

Unlocked features are present with select chipsets and processor combinations. Altering clock frequency or voltage may damage or reduce the useful life of the processor and other system components and may reduce system stability and performance. Product warranties may not apply if the processor is operated beyond its specifications. Check with the manufacturers of system and components for additional details.
