Xe Super Sampling
AI-enhanced Upscaling
Revolutionize Your Resolution
XeSS (Xe Super Sampling) takes your gaming experience to the next level with AI-enhanced upscaling that enables an increased output resolution while maintaining high image fidelity at maximum performance. Designed with all gamers in mind, XeSS is unlocked to work on widely available hardware.
Seeing Is Believing
Behold the next-generation of gaming visuals with XeSS AI based upscaling. XeSS uses an AI-based algorithm and hardware acceleration to deliver ultra-high-definition visuals at performance levels of lower resolution rendering, to enable immersive and high-performance gaming for everyone.
Available in the Latest Games
With many game studios in collaboration, look for more games with XeSS coming this summer.
AI-enhanced Upscaling
Machine learning helps synthesize images that are very close to the quality of native ultra-high-res rendering by reconstructing subpixel details from neighboring pixels, as well as motion-compensated previous frames. This reconstruction is performed by a neural network trained to deliver high performance and exceptional quality.
Open & Accessible
XeSS is implemented using open standards to ensure wide availability on many games and across a broad set of shipping hardware, from both Intel® and other GPU vendors.**
Additionally, the XeSS algorithm can leverage the DP4a and XMX hardware capabilities of Xe GPUs for better performance.
**The main requirement for the XeSS algorithm is graphics drivers with support for Shader Model 6.4, making it compatible with a broad set of shipping hardware.
Want Access to the SDK?
The XeSS SDK is available now for select developers. For early access consideration, join us on the XeSS Early Access Review Group on Intel® DevMesh and tell us how XeSS can add value to your game. While we continue to work on releasing XeSS publicly, we’ll select the best projects to join our early beta program.
