See more game than ever

With Intel® True View, you can enjoy the sports you love from every angle. See games from above the action, around the stadium, and even from inside the plays. You aren’t just watching anymore. You’re immersed.1

Intel Horsepower Makes It Happen

Intel® True View is a powerful end-to-end platform that delivers views traditional cameras can’t, then delivers those stunning views via broadcast, digital, and mobile. Dozens of high-definition cameras are mounted all around stadiums and arenas worldwide. They capture massive amounts of volumetric video. That gets processed through highly-advanced Intel® Xeon® processor-based servers, Intel® Core™ processor-powered PCs, and Intel True View. It renders 360-degree replays, stunning freeze frames, and never-before looks at the most exciting plays.

Learn more about Intel Sports

The Camera Array

Dozens of small cameras are installed in a ring around the venue, capturing the entire field of play. They generate massive amounts of volumetric data (voxels), which capture height, width, and depth. The camera array is connected by fiber to dedicated on-site Intel servers, where all data is stored and processed.

The Computing Power

Intel® Xeon® processor-based high-performance servers store, synchronize, analyze, and render terabytes of volumetric data that is turned into high-fidelity volumetric video.

The Production Team

An Intel Sports production team operates and maintains the system. During events, they carefully watch the game and capture the highlights and replays you get to see.

Delivery to All Devices

You can enjoy Intel® True View replays on multiple platforms—including television, mobile, social, VR headsets, PCs, and more. It gives broadcasters, teams, and fans access to new, immersive experiences when and how they want them.

“We have seen the impact this Intel® technology has had in other sports leagues across the world, and are very excited and proud that it is installed at Emirates Stadium.”

Peter Silverstone
Commercial Director, Arsenal FC

An Intel® True View camera installed at the United Center, home of the 6x NBA champion Chicago Bulls, captures the volumetric video data used to create immersive, 360-degree replays and player perspectives.

Dozens of cameras are installed in a ring around Raymond James Stadium--home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to capture volumetric video of plays.

Each camera is connected by fiber to high-performance Intel®-based servers, where the data is stored and processed.

The Intel® True View production team uses Intel computing power to render massive amounts of volumetric video data captured by the cameras. It becomes 3D highlights, be the player, 360-degree replays, and laser wall.

With Intel® True View, the production team can fly a virtual camera anywhere around, above, and even inside the action—delivering exciting never-before seen views of the game.

Fans can immerse themselves in True View and get a new perspective on the sports they love from their device of choice.
