Where Can I Find Intel® Boxed Processor Numbers for Warranty?
Information about Intel® Boxed Processor numbers for warranty
To process your warranty request, or check your processor's warranty status , you will need two numbers:
- Batch number (FPO)
- Serial number (ATPO) or Partial serial number (partial ATPO).
FPO stands for - Finished Process Order, and ATOP stands for Assembly Test Process Order.

Where to find the numbers for warranty
FPO and ATOP are listed on the packaging of Intel Boxed Desktop Processor
The two numbers are listed on the packaging that shipped with Intel Boxed Processor.
The batch number (FPO) is listed as Batch#, and the full serial number (ATPO) is listed as S/N:
FPO and ATPO are also part of the processor's markings
- The batch number (FPO) is located on the top of the processor.
- The partial serial number (partial ATPO) is located on the outside edge of the processor. The partial serial number contains the last three to five digits from the full serial number for the processor. It is printed in human readable format on the outside edges of processor.
- A 2D matrix contains the full serial number (partial ATPO). This matrix must be read using a third-party tool and certain smart phone cameras.

Check the warranty status using FPO and full ATPO
- The batch number (FPO) is listed on the packaging under Batch#, and can also be found on the top of the processor's markings.
- The full serial number (ATPO) is listed on the packaging under S/N , or can be obtained from the 2D matrix using a third-party tool and certain smart phone cameras.
Use the Warranty Information Center. Follow steps below:
- Choose Product Type.
- Choose Processor.
- Enter the batch number (FPO) and the full serial number (ATPO) in their corresponding fields.
- Click Check Products.

Use the batch number (FPO) located on the top of the processor along with the partial serial number (partial ATPO) located on the outside edge of the processor. Use the Warranty Information Center. Follow steps below:- Choose Product Type.
- Choose Processor.
- Enter the batch number (FPO) and the partial number (ATPO) in their corresponding fields.
- Click Check Products.
