High-End Desktop RAID Solutions for Enthusiasts and Gamers

High-end desktop users can customize their storage for a specific workload with two specialized RAID products from Intel. Learn more by reading the Solutions Brief below.

Two specialized RAID products from Intel are supported on High-end Desktop platforms. However, Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) is the preferred RAID software for this environment since it is better optimized for single user PC clients. Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) is moving to sustaining mode for HEDT X299 platforms. Intel® VROC is still supported for X299 usage, but it is recommended that users migrate to Intel® RST instead. Please read attachment for details and explanation.
