Steps to change the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) username and password
Description
Lost the BMC credentials and unable to log in to the BMC Web Console.
Resolution
Follow the steps below to reset/reconfigure the BMC user account credentials locally from the BIOS menu:
- Reboot or power on the system.
- Press F2 when prompted to enter BIOS menu.
- Navigate to Server Management -> BMC LAN Configuration -> User Configuration.
- Reconfigure the user credentials as desired.
