How can NiosII designs be ported to an ASIC or other technology?

Description A licensing agreement is required. You must obtain a license to implement your SOPC Builder system, Nios CPUs, and other IP from the Nios Development Kit in an ASIC. You can contact your Altera sales representative for more information. All design files, IP, and software produced by the SOPC Builder tool or contained in the Nios Development Kit are licensed for use with Altera devices only. Using any SOPC Builder generated logic or IP in another manufacturer's PLD, or in an ASIC, is illegal and in direct violation of the license agreement. Altera values this intellectual property and will defend it aggressively against misuse and/or piracy
