How to perform Power Analysis with 3.3V-VCC_ONE for Intel® MAX® 10 FPGAs?

Environment

  • Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

    The VCC_ONE will always display as 3.0 V on the Power Analysis report due to missing VCC_ONE selection in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 17.1 and earlier. VCC_ONE will be a default 3.0 V when performing the Power Analysis.

    Resolution

    The temporary workaround to estimate the power consumption with 3.3V-VCC_ONE, you can refer to the Intel® MAX® 10 FPGA Early Power Estimator (EPE).

    This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 17.1 .
